Some Like it Hot

I TOLD you I would have pictures of Drag Queens...so here you go!!!!

Me, Michael and Greg. Two of my favorite gay boys in the entire world :)

This was our waiter. Or should I say waitress? A little scray, right? Lots of neon make-up!

This drag queen REALLY took a liking to Michael. His/her name was Cashmiere. hahaha.

All of the people on this stage ARE NOT women. Although, some had actual breast implants.

Sooooooo, yeah. It was an interesting night. As you can plainly see. I totally have to go again!

Vent session...

I CANNOT STAND people who do not know how to use correct grammar/spelling/punctuation when writing!!!!!!!!!! This is a trivial pet peeve of mine, I understand (well, all pet peeves are sort of trivial), but...WHY ARE PEOPLE SOOOOOOOOO STUPID?

Sorry, I just had to vent that after reading an e-mail from a stupid girl. One could argue whether what she wrote was english or some primitive, ugly form of the language.

Ok, stepping off the soap box...now.

And a side note: I will have pictures of drag queens for your viewing pleasure soon. If you find pleasure from that sort of thing, you know.

It's all about the glitter and feather boas.

I'm going to see drag queens tomorrow. Yeah, I said drag queens. I'm going to a show at a club called LIPS.

That should be interesting. I'm incredibly excited...hehehe.

Strike! Or not...

Sooo, I'm taking a bowling class this semester...THAT should be interesting! Too bad I bowled today and REALLY sucked. Can you say gutterball? hmmm...I can! It's alright, I believe I will improve with time (fingers crossed).

Last night I went to a little college pub called Effin's. It was 35-cent wing night (OH yeah hot wings!) and I had a little drink called Red Death. I'm not dead though. So I think it didn't really do its job.

I'm realizing that this semester I have A LOT of reading...did I tell you my classes? Well here goes:
  1. Journalism 315 (news writing and editing): My favorite class so far!!!!
  2. Women's Studies 320 (socialization of women): We'll see how this turns out, I kinda don't like it so far.
  3. Religious Studies 358 (Death, Dying and the Afterlife): this class seems kick-ass, and one of my best friends is taking it with me, yay!
  4. Communications 480 (principles of public relations): This seems to be the hardest class by far...but I like challenges :)
  5. Bowling....yay!

So yeah, that's what the semester looks like so far! I'm excited. And already slightly exhausted. Sounds like the average student...

oh, the first week...

I've been going to my first day of classes this week. Why are books so ridicuously expensive? Why must my Public Relations book be $85 used? Is that really necessary? Speaking of Public Relations, the teacher for that class is definitely a little pistol, and rambled on and on about how San Diego State is the number 6 ranked school in the PR field...yada yada yada, blah blah blah...I hate when teachers do that. However, she redeemed herself when she proceeded to say "Ok, end of commercial."

Professors are on crack. All of them. I've come to that conclusion.

Things are going good, by the way. I'm smiling and laughing again...completely. Not just sometimes. Life has its rough patches, that's for sure. Man, I'm glad I'm out of the last one.

The sun is shining outside. And although it's chilly outside (you've heard about CA's crops freezing over, right?) it's still simply beautiful. I must go now and frolic in the sunshine. Yeah, I said frolic. What you gon' do about it?

Jubilee

So, my dad has been having these mild treatments for his cancer. He went four times in december (for three hours at a time).

And guess what? The treatment did what it was supposed to! You can't cure the kind of cancer my dad has, but you can shrink it down to a smaller size (basically control it/lay the smack down on it).

I feel like a LOT of weight has slipped off of my shoulders. Eventually he'll go back for more treatment...but it's comforting to know that the treatment will work :)

My heart is happy.

Long Time No See

Sooo, I've kind of been in and out of blogger for a few months now. I swear I used to go on everyday. I guess I just go on when it's necessary, whether that be everyday or every other week.

The new year has been good so far...I went to LA and Orange County this past week for fun, since little road trips are fun for me. I have a cool picture of me and jack, you wanna see? Of course you do...

Yeah, Jack and I actually bought those shirts. We're soooooo hardcore. Anyway, I don't have much to say just yet, school starts on Thursday, ahhhh!

7 is a LUCKY number...

therefore, 2007 has the potential to be a LUCKY year.

That's my theory, anyway :)

Here's to an amazing new year (oh, do I hope so!)
